Megan Respol

Megan is a research and policy professional with a background in criminology, data analysis, and program evaluation. She has spent more than a decade working across the justice, education, and nonprofit sectors, combining analytical rigor with a commitment to human rights and survivor-centered practice.

Most recently, she worked with the National Education Association supporting governance initiatives, leadership development programs, and organizational research. Prior to that, she served as a Data Analyst for a federal government contractor, contributing to national education data quality and modernization efforts for the U.S. Department of Education. Earlier in her career, Megan held investigative and legal research roles that deepened her focus on gender-based violence, victimization, and policy reform.

Megan holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Criminology from Florida State University. She is deeply passionate about applying data, research, and survivor-informed policy to advance justice and improve outcomes for vulnerable and marginalized communities.
