Join Alaina and Oxana for a two-hour partner yoga workshop! The word ‘yoga’ means union in Sanskrit, and this is exactly what we’ll aim to achieve in our practice.

Poses in this workshop are designed in a unique way to create and nurture trust, strengthen communication, and create a sense of connection with your partner and other practitioners. The goal of the practice is to bring people together through movement, play, breath, touch, and energy exchange.

We’ll start promptly at noon by opening with a seated Qigong meditation. Then gently flow through sun salutations and into our partner yoga sequence. You’ll learn how to give assisted support to your partner in various relaxing poses.

All the proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the Amara Legal Center, the only organization in the D.C. area dedicated solely to serving the legal needs of survivors of sex trafficking and to sex workers, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the nation’s largest non-profit dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
