Lakshmi Gopal is a Staff Attorney at the Amara Legal Center. Prior to joining Amara, she worked as a sole practitioner at Muciri Law, PLLC, where she served low-income individuals and small businesses facing challenges in the digital economy. Prior to this, she taught U.S. constitutional law, international law, and business law as a Senior Researcher and lecturer at the University of Halle-Wittenberg. Lakshmi earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan and is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York.
