Simone Lease is the Case Manager and Community Outreach Specialist at the Amara Legal Center. Prior to joining Amara, Ms. Lease served as a Hotline Advocate and Hotline Supervisor at the National Human Trafficking Hotline. In this role, she oversaw a team of advocates, while coordinating crisis responses and collaborating with law enforcement, government agencies, and service providers to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed, survivor-centered care. In addition, Ms. Lease brings experience facilitating educational presentations and workshops on human trafficking prevention and awareness, as well as leading a sexual assault survivor advocacy program at Coppin State University. At Amara, Ms. Lease provides direct case management and service coordination for clients, conducts intakes, and engages in community outreach and training initiatives in order to increase awareness of human trafficking and Amara’s services.
