Stacy Lacroix is a Staff Attorney at the Amara Legal Center. Stacy earned her Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California where she interned at the California Innocence Project, The Chula Vista Public Defender and the San Diego Office of the City Attorney. Stacy later earned an LL.M in Law and Government from American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.  Prior to joining Amara, Ms. Lacroix worked as a pro bono attorney for DCVLP in Washington, D.C and MVLS in Maryland representing low-income residents in family court and civil protective order cases. Ms. Lacroix is currently licenced to practice law in D.C, Maryland, and New York.
